Would you like to announce an event, draw attention to a service offered by your university institution, or recruit participants for an activity?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Communications, Marketing, and Community Relations (COM) manages a campus-wide network of information screens for sharing announcements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On this website, you can easily submit a request to have your content displayed on our screens. Please submit your request <\/strong>at least 14 days before the desired starting date<\/strong> of the display period.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

We currently manage a total of 13 screens at the following locations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Alte Mensa<\/strong> (upon entering the building, one on the right in front of the Atrium Maximum and one on the left in front of the left-side lecture hall)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Forum 2<\/strong> (foyer)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Georg Forster building<\/strong> (foyer)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • NatFak<\/strong> (one each at the entrances from the Botanical Garden and from the Muschel area)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • NatMed <\/strong>(in front of lecture hall 18)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Philosophicum I <\/strong>(one at the entrance to the main building and one between P2 and P3)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • ReWi I <\/strong>(foyer)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • ReWi II<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Schulz-Horner building<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    There are also other screens elsewhere on campus which are not managed by our team, for example in the Kreuzbau. Responsibility for these lies with the respective faculties or institutions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    All JGU institutions (faculties, institutes\/departments, central institutions and facilities, and central administration, etc.) and bodies of the student body representative committee may submit content for display on the campus digital information screens. In addition, the following content requirements apply:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • The content to be displayed must be organized or co-organized by JGU (or one of its institutions) or a body of the student representative committee.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • The information is aimed (primarily) at students.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • The information relates to the university. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • The information is up-to-date.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Your content will appear on screens located in corridors and entrance halls. Your audience is on the move and may only see your visual briefly. There is no audio<\/strong>. A visual is generally displayed for 10 seconds<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n<\/jgu-base-notificationbanner>\n\n\n\n

      • Make your slide as accessible <\/strong>and easy to read<\/strong> as possible.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Ensure that font sizes and contrasts<\/strong> are sufficient.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Avoid continuous text <\/strong> or lengthy blocks of text.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Highlight key information<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Clearly identify<\/strong> the sender<\/strong> behind your message (your institution, faculty, etc.) from the beginning<\/strong> (in most cases, a logo alone is not sufficient).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Use QR codes<\/strong> to include links to websites or related information.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • In videos or slideshows, display QR codes for the full duration wherever possible <\/strong>to make them easier to access.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • If you link to non-university <\/strong>pages<\/strong> (such as social media channels), indicate this clearly by, for example, labeling the link or otherwise identifying its destination.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

              • For slideshows<\/strong>: each individual slide should be displayed for 10 seconds<\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • No audio<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                After submitting the form, you will receive an automated email from our ticketing system. Your request is now being processed. Should any details require clarification, we will contact you through this channel. If everything checks out technically, the head of COM will decide whether to approve it. Once approval has been granted, the content will be scheduled for display and you will receive confirmation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
